That’s right she’s back. With all the skunk/baby poo/mango goodness. The high is truly psychadelic from this strain. For those that know, this plant needs no introduction. For those of you who don't know... sometime in the 90's Apollo 13 was originally bred by the Brother's Grimm in Colorado. Rick Campanella's original description of Apollo 13 started by stating "This skunky girl will make your eyes water" - and he was right.  This breeding project started with two packs of TGA Vortex F1, in which open pollination of both tropical and skunk phenotypes were allowed. The resulting F2 generation was incredible, with a few phenotypes of tropical variety and one more rare skunky/baby poo. The single skunk phenotype (F2#14) tested 26-30%. This rare F2 plant was the lucky catalyst in reviving Apollo 13.  

Morphology & Growth

All F4 plants grow short to medium in height during veg, but these girls are voracious once they hit flower, about doubling in size, and they haul ass. They flower rediculously fast around 56-60 days full fade. I highly reccomend vegging under 5000k-6000k to keep them squatty, flower under LEDs with infrared or HPS. Plants will finish flower in 8-9 weeks with incredible hybrid speed. The high is nearly psychedelic, there few plants like these around today. The taste on the inhale is buttery and savory, the exhale is like herbal tea, very unlike other plants you will smoke. The resin it produces is greasy, rather than sticky, which is indicative of true indica traits. Plants are extremely tough and resistant to mold, pests, cold and heat, they’ve been bred outdoors in hot dry summers and cold rainy autumns of Michigan, outdoors and Inside.
